Current program

In 2023, we have to plan the programme with significantly less funding than before. Therefore, from this year onwards, there will only be four concerts per year instead of six. You can find an archive with audio and video recordings of concerts that have already taken place in our review.

Record Release: „La lumière du sud“

In 2011, Lena Kravets and Tobias Kassung established their duo in the Kölner Klassik Ensemble. With the rare combination of cello and guitar, they develop very individual programmes and thrill audiences in their concerts across Germany.
In autumn 2023 their new album "La lumière du sud" will be released by KSG Exaudio. With this concert we celebrate the "Record Release" together with our Cologne audience.

"La lumière du sud - the light of the south" is entirely dedicated to the masters of French music. The vastness of the French coast, the high, blue sky and the special light have inspired French artists at all times to create special works of art. In music, too, lightness merges with southern flair and the French way of life. Great impressionists like Claude Debussy or Gabriel Fauré meet the baroque master Marin Marais and the contemporary Parisian composer Mathias Duplessy, who wonderfully combines French lightness with flamenco and Brazilian bossa nova.

Programme:
